The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award Office, an affiliate of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, extended registration for the Award’s 22nd cycle until 31 January in response to growing interest from institutions and companies. The extension aimed to give the largest possible number of interested organisations an opportunity to participate. Launched by the Abu Dhabi Chamber in 1999, the Award strengthens the positive contribution of business to economic development and social progress and bears the name of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The current model focuses on measuring participants’ actual economic and societal impact, including competitiveness, innovation, national talent development and adoption of advanced technologies, and translating achievements into market access, investor confidence and productive partnerships.
